How do I get a repeat prescription?

We are pleased to announce that Estuary Group Practice are part of the Beta Testing for the new NHS Wales App. This fantastic App will be replacing My Health Online.
The App is a simple and secure way to:
· book a routine appointment
· check or cancel an existing appointment
· order your repeat prescription
· view immunisations and any recorded allergies
In addition, you can also:
· use the NHS 111 symptom checker
· register for Blood and Organ donation services
To access the App you must:
· be aged 16 or over
· have a fully verified NHS login, or a valid photo ID to prove your identity
The NHS Wales App is available to download on your phone or tablet from both Apple and Google Play Stores. Just search for "NHS Wales".
If you have no access to a mobile device, you can still use the NHS Wales App from any PC or Laptop at the following web address: https://app.nhs.wales/login

Patients can call the prescription line on 01792 872404 and press option 2.
This is open between the hours of 8:00am until 1:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Post:
Each time we issue you a prescription you will receive a tear-off slip which lists all the items you can have for repeat use. Please keep this slip to use the next time you order more medication. Only order the items you need, you may not need everything on the list. Then post the slip to us at;

You can return the tear-off slip to us personally (there is a box by the front door to save you waiting) .
*If you are collecting a prescription from the surgery, please make sure it is after 4pm*
Please order your repeat medication well before you run out and allow two working days before collecting your prescription. We can arrange for your chosen pharmacist to collect your prescription for you. Please ask us.
Prescriptions will be printed and sent to either Gowerton Pharmacy (across the road from Gowerton surgery), Well Pharmacy at Gowerton Surgery, Well Pharmacy at Pen-y-Bryn or Mr Huw Rees Pharmacy, Penclawdd, where medication will be dispensed and packaged up. Patients will then receive a phone call (or text) advising them that the medication is ready and they can come and collect it. If you would like a different pharmacy to dispense your medication, please let us know by including the name of the nominated pharmacy in your registration email for My Health Online or advising us over the phone when you order. If you have not nominated a pharmacy, you can collect your prescription from the surgery by knocking on the back door. It will then be passed to you through the window.
